A Syrian administrative manager allegedly placed a camera in the toilet of the office in order to make videos of female colleagues using the loo, the Dubai Criminal Court heard on Thursday.
FSD, 37, is accused of invading the privacy and attempting to molest SL, one of the company staff. But FSD’s attempt to make video failed as the victim discovered the camera and lodged a complaint with the police.
The victim SL, 22, Filipina, receptionist testified that on October 8 while she was in office, she went to the loo which was for both men and women.
“I saw a small black device looked like a memory card…but it had a small red light also…I took it and insert it in the computer…I saw myself video shoot…I showed the device to my colleague as well.”
The accused admitted placing the device in the base of the toilet to take video of the victim.
The court adjourned the case for verdict till February27.
