A one-month-old boy was found dead on a Sharjah beach and police said the body had been lying there for several days.
Police went to the area after receiving a call from beach visitors who saw the decomposing body on the sand on Wednesday.
The body was sent to the coroner to identify the baby and determine the cause of the death while police opened an investigation into the case.
