The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced BSA, 32, Saudi visitor, to one year in jail for consensual sex with an Uzbek woman in a hotel apartment.
The Uzbek woman, DFR, 34, was given three years in jail for practicing prostitution.
Both the convicts were also given one month in jail for consuming alcohol.
Both were also ordered to be deported after serving their jail terms.
The records did not mention how the two were arrested for having sex in a hotel apartment in Al Muraqqabat area. However, Criminal Evidences reported that sperms of the accused were found on the underwear of DFR, the bed sheet and tissue papers in the apartment.
DFR confessed to practicing prostitution.
