Revealing the mystery of the death of an Asian woman in Umm Al Quwain

Umm Al Quwain police in cooperation with Dubai Police solve the mystery of unidentified body was found tied up in a plastic bag lying dumped under a tree near one of the exits of the Emirate along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed road reported Al-Bayan newspaper.

Colonel Humaid Matar Ajel Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Umm Al Quwain police said that the details of the case back to 26th of past June when the police operations room received a tip off the case.

He added that according to the tip-off that one of the municipality laborer found unidentified body constrained within a plastic bag and was dumped under a tree near one of the exits along the Emirate Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

He added that it has been contacted with Dubai Police where they have a very experience in such field where it has been formed a team of crime scene Department, forensics experts, forensics and CID team to uncover the circumstances of the crime and identifying the identity of the victim.

He added it was determined that the body belonged to a woman who was tied up in the case of rotting and it is likely that the murder might have been somewhere else before about 40 days.

He said that after conducting a very massive investigation campaign that no evidence led to the identity of the victim.

He added that also it has checking on the victim's fingerprints which show lack of her imprint on the UAE level. 

He continued the search and inquiry about 3 months to September 30, where it has been identified the identity of the victim who is 24 years old and identified as A.S.A.

He added that it has been found that the victim came into the country on a tourist visa since August last year and after testing the DNA it has been confirmed the identity of the victim.

He added that further research and investigation was able to detect the identity of the persons involved in the crime and identified four persons of the same nationality of the victim. 

He added that the accused confessed of committing the crime outside the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.
