Shopping mall child molester in Dubai jail

A Pakistani system analyst who was accused of groping a 10-year-old girl in a supermarket was sentenced to three months in jail.

MF, 30, was also ordered to be deported after serving his jail term.

The victim’s mother, SY, 36, an Emirati told the police that at around 6pm on Friday, December 6, she accompanied her two daughters and the maid to Ibn Battuta mall.

“In the supermarket, I left my two daughters near my trolley not very far away from a garment’s section where I headed to with the maid.

“After a few minutes I heard my daughter Sara laughing loudly. I rushed to my daughters and asked Sara why she was laughing.

“She told me that a man groped her sister thrice. She also told me that he was wearing an orange shirt.

“A supermarket staffer also told he saw the accused doing that to my daughter and another girl and had already informed security.

“Security staff caught the man and I reported the incident to the police,” the mother testified.

RR, 23, Indian, security guard who was not on duty was in the supermarket and saw a man groping the girl.

“While I was shopping I noticed a man who was waiving to two girls who were standing near a trolley and then was heading towards them.

“I stopped and watched him and saw him grope one of them and leave. I informed the security and followed the assaulter and while he was running away he groped another girl who was about 13,” testified RR.

Police arrested MF, 30, Pakistani and the victim recognised him in an identification parade.
