A Ras Al Khaimah court sentenced an Arab man to six months in prison for assaulting a public servant and causing injuries to him, a newspaper said on Wednesday.
The defendant was in his car with a friend when an argument erupted with another man driving past them in the northern city, Alttihad said.
The defendant got out of his car and attacked that man, causing injury to him and preventing him from performing his work on that day.
The defendant was found guilty of assaulting a public servant after a medical report proved the victim suffered injury while his friend was acquitted on the grounds he tried to end the fight.
