Three Pakistanis involved in a brawl are facing the accusation of physical assault in a labour accommodation, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

AMD, 32, and MRS, 39, both carpenters, are accused of assaulting SAA, 35, clerk, causing him 0.5 per cent permanent disabilities. SAA is also accused of assaulting AMD.

RTM, 23, Pakistani, in charge of the accommodation, testified that on January 2, at around 7.30am, he heard shouts in the camp so he rushed towards the sound.

“I saw that SAA and AMD were fighting, they were punching and pushing the other to the ground. SAA sustained injuries on his nose while AMD was wounded in his leg,” he testified.

Forensic reported that SAA had sustained a fracture in his nose and 0.5 per cent permanent disability.

AMD and MRS admitted to assaulting SAA.

The court will issue its sentence on February 3.
