Tourist molested by staffer in hotel room

A 30-year-old Bangladeshi hotel worker, KHM, allegedly molested a guest in a hotel room, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

TEJ, 37, American tourist, testified that on August 5, at around 10.30pm she went to a hotel to take up a room. She completed the booking formalities and went to her room accompanied by the accused.

Taking advantage of the fact they were alone together, KHM grabbed TEJ’s hand and put his other hand around her neck.

KHM confessed to the accusation.

The court adjourned the case for verdict until December 13.
