Two major accidents were reported by the Dubai Traffic Police on Saturday.
One left an unidentified man dead, while the second put a woman in intensive care.
In the first of the accidents an expatriate woman was run over in the parking lot of Al Ain centre.
The offending vehicle and the driver have yet to be identified.
The woman, not yet identified by the police was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
She is currently in intensive care.
In the second incident, which took place in the evening at around 6pm, an unidentified man was run over on the Emirates Road.
The man died on the spot and no further details were available.
