Saudi airport customs officials arrested two foreign passengers after discovering they were hiding 187 capsules of heroin inside their bellies.
Scanning images at Jeddah airport showed one passenger had 95 capsules weighing 717 gm while the other concealed 92 capsules weighing 693 gm.
“The two were arrested and would stand trial on drug smuggling charges,” Sabq newspaper said in a report from the Western Red Sea city without identifying the two.
Convicted drug dealers in Saudi Arabia are executed by the sword in most cases.
