4 men held in Saudi for kidnapping boy

Saudi police arrested four men who were caught on camera abducting a little boy last week and a newspaper said they may be executed.

A YouTube film showed the boy was walking back home in the eastern province of Ihsa when four men in a car grabbed him and drove away. The boy later returned home but it was not clear what they had done to him.

Police had mounted a massive manhunt for the kidnappers before arresting them on Sunday, the Arabic language daily ‘Sada’ said.

It quoted the boy’s father as saying he wants the captors to be severely punished and that he would never drop the case against them.

“Legal sources said the crime committed by those four men could be punishable by execution,” the paper said.
