59-year old arrested for rape of daughter-in-law

A 59-year old Egyptian man was arrested for allegedly raping his daughter-in-law, according to Al Youm Al Sabea’a newspaper.

The Al Qanater public prosecutor ordered that man be jailed until investigations are complete.

The 22-year old victim, accused her father-in-law of raping her while her husband had gone out and she was alone at home. .

The man has denied the crime and claimed that his son's wife accused him due to personal differences. 

Egyptian tailor shoots mistress in front of children 

An Egyptian tailor shot his mistress in front of her children, then committed suicide, after their relationship was discovered by the woman's husband and the residents of the area.

According to a report in Al Ahram newspaper, the Masr Al Qadima Police station received a tip-off from the inhabitants of the area that a tailor shot a  housewife in her home in front of her three children.

The residents added that the tailor shot himself and died on the spot.

The police rushed to the scene and the bodies were taken to the morgue. Investigations revealed the housewife was in an illicit relationship with the killer.

It is alleged that the woman asked her husband for a divorce so she could marry the tailor. The husband not only refused but also confronted the tailor in front of neighbors and blamed him for the problems in his relationship with his wife.

The killer went to the victim’s house took out a pistol shot the woman and then shot himself. 

Driver chops wife to death with meat cleaver

An Egyptian driver chopped his second wife to death with a meat cleaver in front of his first wife and her children, after he doubted her of having an illicit relationship.

According to a report in Al Ahram newspaper, after committing the crime, the killer walked to the railway station and jumped in front of a train and ended his life.

The Al Ayat Police Station of Giza received a tip-off stating that a 37-year old man with a criminal record, identified as Masaoud Faraj, killed his 29-year old wife, identified as Hala Farouk.

The police rushed immediately to the scene and found that the driver closed the bedroom door on the victim, took out a cleaver and chopped her body to pieces.

The killer then dragged the body into the hall of the apartment to let his first wife and her children know how he committed the crime.

The man then went to the railway where he ended his life.

Investigations revealed that the driver has 3 children from his first wife and one from the second wife. Both the wives were living in the same flat.

According to the investigation, the driver has strong doubts about his second wife’s conduct and decided to take revenge on her.
