Asian professor caught dancing in Saudi class

An Asian university professor, apparently from China or a neighboring country, took time out of monotonous daily lessons to perform a traditional Saudi dance with his students at a university in the Gulf Kingdom.

A five-minute U-Tube film, published by the Saudi Arabic language daily Alsaudeh, showed the professor swaying right and left, jumping and clapping as he was surrounded by two students showing him how to do the dance.

The film showed the teacher later donned a traditional Saudi head gear before resuming his dance amidst laughter and clapping by the students.

The paper did not identify the teacher nor did it say where the university is located in Saudi Arabia, the world’s dominant oil exporter with a population of around 28 million, including nearly eight million expatriates.
