Asian slashed to death in cement mixer

An Indian construction worker was slashed to pieces after he was sucked into a cement mixer which he was cleaning in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Police and the Civil Defence found parts of the body scattered inside the mixer which was in operation when the worker dangled himself into it.

Police in the Western Saudi town of Makkah, quoted by 'Sabq' daily, said they were investigating the incident to determine if criminal act is involved.
