Baby found covered with palm leaves

A new born boy was found covered with palm date branches near a building and police said they were trying to identify his mother.

A man on his way to work found the baby just near entrance of the building north of the western Red Sea port of Jeddah and phoned the police, who called in an ambulance.

“The boy was found with palm date branches covering his neck and body…he was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition,” Kabar newspaper said.
