Baby hospitalised after taking heart drugs

A one-year-old Saudi boy was rushed to hospital after taking drugs for heart diseases at his home in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The boy was admitted to the intensive care unit at the hospital in the southern town of Bisha in a “very bad shape” but his condition improved on the next day following treatment, Sabq Arabic language daily said.

“He was discharged on the next day after his condition improved…we urge parents not to leave drugs within the reach of their children,” the paper said, quoting Abdullah Al Gamdi, Bisha health department spokesman.
