Father raped his step daughter for six years

Kuwaiti police are searching for man accused of raping the daughter of his wife for nearly six years before she decided to sum up her courage and tell her mother.

The girl told police her mother’s husband had raped her since she was 13 years old until she was 19 before revealing the secret to her mother.

“The woman took her daughter straight to the police and filed charges against her husband,” the Kuwait Arabic language daily Alwatan said.

It said police had mounted a manhunt for the husband who suddenly disappeared from his house in Farawaniya neighborhood in the capital Kuwait City.

“The woman was shocked when her daughter told her what happened to her all those years…both had thought he would be like a father to the girl before he began his devious actions,” the paper said.
