A Saudi passenger on a domestic flight has just finished his meal served by the cabin crew when a hungry cockroach invaded the empty dish.

When he protested to the crew members, their reply was that is was normal to have insects in an aircraft.

“I filled a complaint form and sent it to the Saudi management a week ago but I have not received a response. It seems that the presence of a cockroach in the flight is normal to them,” Ahmed Sabbagh told Ajel newspaper.

The paper said Ahmed had a night meal last week while he was travelling from the eastern town of Dammam to the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah aboard the flight by a Saudi airline.
