Legal advisor rapes child in Kuwait

An Egyptian man working as a legal advisor at a company in Kuwait raped a little Jordanian girl but he had not expected the child to overcome her ordeal and take his car plate number, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The girl was returning to her apartment from the shop in Kuwait City when the man caught her at the building entrance and forced her under the stairs, where he raped her. He then jumped into his car and fled.

“Instead of rushing back home, the girl rushed out and memorised the car number. She then went to her parents and told them,” Al Watan said.

It said police later arrested the rapist, who was identified by the girl in a queue at the police station. The paper did not specify the girl’s age.

10 years for Kuwait who raped 8-year-old boy

A Kuwaiti court sentenced a local man to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of raping an eight-year-old boy in the Gulf emirate, newspapers said on Wednesday.

The Arab boy was at the shop when the man asked him to show him the road to a building in the neighborhood, they said.

“He took him to an isolated area, stripped him off and raped him…the boy later rushed to his father, who told the police,” Al Watan daily said.
