Three Kuwaiti men took advantage of the absence of their father from home and raped his Ethiopian housemaid, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The father reported to the police that his maid had disappeared, triggering a police search through the capital, 'Al Watan' said.
“When she was found, she told police she ran away after she was raped by her employer’s three sons at home,” it said.
Second Syrian in Kuwait commits suicide in two days
A Syrian boy in Kuwait committed a suicide by hanging himself at his room, the second teen ager from that Arab country to kill himself in the Gulf emirate in just two days, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Colleagues told police they woke up at their work accommodation to find the worker hanging by a rope at his room, 'Al Watan' said.
Police have started an investigation into the incident while the body was sent to the coroner to determine death causes. A 17-year-old Syrian was found hanging at his house in Kuwait City a day before, according to the paper.
Drunk man beats wife to death
An Arab man in Saudi Arabia returned home drunk and severely beat up his wife. He then took her to hospital but doctors failed to save her life.
During police interrogation, the 45-year-old man denied any wrong doing but a hospital report showed she had been tortured.
“He then confessed to beating her up because of her bad behavior,” 'Okaz' newspaper said in a report from the western Red Sea port of Jeddah.
“But investigation that followed inspection of the man’s house showed he killed his wife under the influence of alcohol.”
