Maid who stabbed boy ends life in Saudi jail

An Ethiopian housemaid who stabbed her employer’s little son many times used the toilet flush rope to end her life inside prison in Saudi Arabia.

Guards checking the toilet in the prison in the Northern border town of Arar found the maid hanging by the window after she tied her neck with the flush rope.

She was rushed to hospital but she died on the way, Sabq newspaper said.

Police arrested the maid last week after she attacked her employer’s 13-year-old son with a kitchen knife, inflicting severe injuries on him.
