The Federal Supreme Court decided to support the ex-employee’s case and ordered the company to pay him a total of Dh124,000 damages, the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej reported.

Child drowns in Qatar’s Aqua Park

Doha’s two-year-old Aqua Park in Qatar has claimed its first victim when a child drowned in one of its pools while swimming alone.

The child was with other boys before moving to another pool in the sprawling complex, thinking it is shallow, the Qatari Sharq daily said.

“Rescuers plucked the boy and tried to resuscitate him but he died…police are investigating the incident to determine who is responsible for this tragedy,” the paper said without identifying the boy or specifying his age.
