Man offers to remarry then rapes ex-wife in car park

A Kuwaiti man who apparently missed his ex-wife phoned her and said he wanted to remarry her. Believing him, the woman rushed out of her house in Kuwait City and got in the car with him.

“In the car, they fell out again and started arguing...he then took her to a parking in Rumaithiya neighborhood, locked the car and raped her,” the Arabic language daily Alwatan said.

It said the 21-year-old Kuwaiti woman went straight to the police station and reported her ex-husband adding that police have launched a manhunt for the 26-year-old man on rape charges.
