Man rapes girl friend for dumping him

A Saudi man raided the apartment of his Kuwaiti sweetheart in the Gulf Emirate and raped her after she decided to dump him because he refused to marry her.

The 28-year-old girl told police she opened the door of her flat to the Saudi man because he did not stop banging and pretending that he was sorry.

She said that when she opened the door, he jumped on her and threatened to kill her before raping her and fleeing the place.

“She told the police that he had swindled more than KD45,000 (Dh585,000) from her, pretending that he loved her,” the Kuwaiti daily Alrai said, adding that police had mounted a manhunt for the Saudi.
