Man tries to abduct kid before his dad’s eyes

A man stalking a child who went into a restaurant with his father in Saudi Arabia waited for the nine-year-old boy to get away from his dad and tried to kidnap him. But he fled after his attempt was foiled by the boy’s father.

The boy was talking around in the restaurant in the western town of Taif when the strange man, in his 30s, grabbed his hand put the other hand on his mouth and tried to drag him out. But the boy managed to bite the man’s hand and scream.

“His father heard him and jumped on the man…after a brief fight, the man ran away but one customer in the restaurant identified him and told the police about his name,” Sabq newspaper said, adding that police had mounted a manhunt for that man.
