Laila Khan's remains found at her farmhouse?

JUST IN: Bollywood starlet Laila Khan's stepfather, Parvez Tak, admitted that the actree along with her relatives were killed in Mumbai and buried at her Igatpuri farmhouse near the Indian town of Nashik.

A team of police officials were dispatched from Mumbai to confirm Tak's claims. According to the latest reports, human remains have been dug up on the grounds of Laila's farmhouse. However, they have not been identified so far.

Earlier, Tak had told Jammu and Kashmir police that Laila and her five relatives had been shot to dead and their bodies buried around her farmhouse. The starlet was murdered along with her mother, two sisters and two half-sisters. Tak was Celina's (Laila's mother's) third husband.

Tak also admitted that two others were involved in the murder. His accomplices allegedly were Celina's second husband, Asif Sheikh and another man known as Afghan Khan, who was allegedly Laila's lover.

The mystery over the disappearance of Bollywood starlet Laila Khan and a few of her family members deepens as more news filters in.

In a surprise development on Thursday, Laila's stepfather, Pervez Tak, admitted killing the actress and other family members, while he was being grilled for another case, reports Indian daily Hindustan Times.

The Pakistani-born actress has been missing with three of her family members since February 2011. Tak is Serena's (Laila's mother) third husband.

Indian police officials have told the media that they have dispatched a team to Mumbai to verify Tak's claims. They did not have sufficient evidence to prove or disprove his claims yet.

Bollywood actress, who once starred in a film opposite legend Rajesh Khanna, Laila Khan, has been shot dead, claim Indian police, according to a report in NDTV.

The starlet along with her family had been missing for almost a year. Khan's father had reported the same to the police after months of no news from his daughter.

According to the police officials quoted by the television channel, Khan was killed along with her entire family by three men in the Indian city of Mumbai.

The revelations were made by Parvez Tak, Laila's mother's third husband. The Mumbai Police is already on its way to the crime site revealed by Tak.

A few days ago, sources in India had claimed that Khan had fled to a Gulf country with her family of five.

The theory was further fuelled when Tak had confirmed the news, with Indian news site.

The “Wafaa” actress, who even starred opposite the now ailing Rajesh Khanna in a Bollywood venture, gained notoriety when she and her family disappeared from their Oshiwara, Mumbai home last year.

In July 2011, news filtered down that the ‘missing’ family had been spotted in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir at Tak’s wedding, but disappeared once again shortly after.

However, two cars belonging to Khan’s mother Saleena were found abandoned in Jammu and Kashmir.

Khan was reportedly on the run with her mother Saleena, two sisters, two cousins, and her stepfather Ateeq.
