A 35-year-old Egyptian house wife was a victim of a dirty deal between her husband and his mistress who murdered her when she discovered their illicit relationship.
The mistress lured her lover's wife to an archaeological area adjacent to the village and hit her hard with a sharp object on the head.
She left the victim soaked in blood till the villagers recovered the body in a pool near the archaeological area of Ahenasia.
The victim's brother reported the incident to the Ahenasia police station and informed them about his sister's body who was missing for two days.
The brother, identified himself as MKH, led the team of police to the crime scene. After the police arrived the body was transferred to the central hospital morgue of Ahenasia.
After investigation it was revealed that the mistress, identified as Huda, along with the husband agreed to kill his wife.
They planned to kill the wife after she saw the two in a compromising situation.
It was later disclosed that the wife saw her 45-year-old husband with the lady in her bedroom.
The husband and his mistress decided to get rid of the wife therefore the mistress lured her to the archaeological area which contained the ancient Egyptian remains and hit her with a stone.
The police arrested the mistress and she admitted to the murder.
The police arrested the husband and the case is referred to the public prosecution for further legal measure.
The crime took place in the village Sheikh Harb of Ahenasia of Beni Suef, reported Sada Al Balad newspaper.
