Mosque robbed twice in Saudi

Thieves stormed into a mosque in Saudi Arabia late night and emptied its fridge which has just been filled with foodstuff and water through donations.

It was the second time that the mosque in the central town of Buraidah is burgled by thieves taking advantage of the mosque’s open doors.

In the first burglary, unknown thieves sneaked into the place under the cover of night and made away with a water refrigerator and a stove, which were also donated by “benevolent people,” Sabq newspaper said.

“These thieves have no ethics at all by raiding a holy place and stealing items donated for the worshippers,” the paper said, quoting a mosque preacher.
