Prisoner let out to see wife returns with drugs

A jailed Saudi drug dealer let out to see his wife for 24 hours returned to prison with more than 700 drug pills, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The unnamed inmate was allowed to go home to see his wife in line with a new law permitting married prisoners to spend some time with their wives every month.

“When he returned, we searched him and found that he had concealed more than 700 drugs pills in sensitive parts of his body,” 'Sabq' newspaper said, quoting Lt Turki Al Harbi,
information director for the prisons department in the central Al Qasseem province.
