Professor slept with 85 students for exams answers

Egyptian authorities arrested a university professor and his assistant on charges of sleeping with 85 female students in exchange for helping them in the examination.

Police seized the two after they were caught on camera with a married student at the professor’s apartment in the capital Cairo.

Newspapers said police had managed to install secret cameras at the apartment to verify reports by some students that the professor was involved in blackmail against his female students at Ain Shams University.

They said the professor denied the charges but added that most of the victims confessed that they had been given the examination answers in return for sex.

Child abuser held in Kuwait

Kuwaiti police arrested a man on charges of molesting and raping five children after luring them to building rooftops with sweets.

Police said a manhunt prompted by repeated reports by families resulted in the capture of the man, who was identified by some of his victims.

“He used to lure them with sweets and take them to building rooftops, where he molested and raped them,” the Arabic language daily Al Anba said, quoting police.
