Two Saudi policemen were on a routine patrol in their car when they noticed a presumed woman in a traditional Arabian abaya (gown) standing on the pavement late at night.

When they asked her what she was doing there, she quietly told them she had come to visit her relatives in the area.

When the two suspicious cops asked to see her ID, she simply turned around and ran away, prompting them to chase her.

“After they caught the presumed woman, they were surprised to find that she was a man disguised as a woman,” Arar newspaper said.

“The man told them that he did so because he had just known a Saudi man through Facebook and posed for him as a woman.

“He said that the Saudi man asked for a date and that he told him he had to pay for it,” the paper said without making clear where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place.

Flies lead to dead Saudi cop inside car

Residents of a Saudi neighborhood were curious about the large number of flies hovering around a parked car in their area although many other vehicles were parked nearby. Their curiosity turned into suspicion when they came close to the car and smelt the strong stench coming their way.

As they peered through the tinted dark glass, their suspicion came true when they saw a police man lying motionless and small parts of his body had disappeared.

“They called the police who came and opened the car…they found that the police man had died for a while and his body had started to decompose,” Okaz Arabic language daily said in a report from the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah.

It quoted a police spokesman as saying they found anti-diabetes medicine inside the car, indicating the cop had died of that disease.
