Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a well known Syrian actor and a Saudi TV female presenter for dating at a rented apartment in the Gulf Kingdom.
The unidentified actor and director is visiting Saudi Arabia with his family, who he left at a shopping mall in Riyadh to meet his girl friend, Arar daily said.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice caught the two lovers “red handed” inside the apartment, the paper said, adding that it has the names of the actor and the presenter.
