Thief caught with stolen car and 'child'

Saudi police suspecting a car was stolen ordered its driver to stop on the road in the Gulf Kingdom. He did stop, opened the door and threw an eight-year-old boy out before speeding away, triggering a movie-like chase on the motorway.

The incident took place on the motorway between the Western Saudi towns of Makkah and Jeddah, where the motorist was driving at high speed.

“The police patrols later caught the driver, who confessed that he had stolen the car while the child was in,” Sada newspaper said.
