Washed mattress kills baby in Saudi

A baby was killed when a heavy washed mattress fell on him at his house in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The boy was playing under the washing line in the garden at his house in the northern town of Turaif when the mattress fell right on him, Ajel said.

“The baby’s family rushed him to hospital but he had already choked to death under the washed carpet,” the Arabic language daily said.
