Woman commits suicide after killing sons

The Egyptian police in Alexandria have found a body of a woman below the building where she lived.

While investigating the cause of the death of the woman the police recovered dead bodies of her two sons in their flat, reported Sada el Balad newspaper.

The dead sons provided vital clue in solving the mysterious death of three members in the family.

The police conducted massive search to reach to the killer but the investigation confirmed that the mother was the killer of her two sons.

The investigations disclosed that the mother was under-going psychological rehabilitation and she murdered her 11 years son and her two years son.

The incident took place in Anas ibn Malik street of Al Muntazah area of Alexandria governorate when the police received a tip off that a 33-years-old woman identified as Maryam G plunged to her death from the balcony of her flat.

The police rushed to the site of the accident and searched the flat of the victim where they found the body her two sons identified as Mina and Nady.

Police observed that the veins in the hands of the two boys were cut which led to severe bleeding and then death.

The murder weapon, a knife, used by the mother has been recovered during investigation.

The husband informed the police that his wife was suffering from mental disorder, and that she had tried to commit suicide and kill her sons two times before.

The police referred the case to the public prosecution to take the legal action.
