Sharjah arrests Asians for illegal business

Sharjah Police have arrested number of Asians for violating entry and residency laws, fleeing from their sponsors and involved in illegal businesses.

Department of investigations organised a campaign around several industrial, commercial, markets and residential neighborhoods after observing increase in illegal activities.

Illegal business conducted by these accused include car wash, garbage collection, display of goods and clothing by street vendors, also selling mobile phone credits to passers-by on the road.

General Headquarters of Sharjah Police, confirmed the continuation of the campaign according to the security plans to achieve their objective.

Sharjah Police appealed to members of the community to report about such offenses and assist the police in controlling such menaces who practice these illegal professions.

The police has also provided direct toll-free phone number to report such activities - 901 or 065 632 222.
