Three Pakistani men are on trial on Sharjah on charges of robbing a company in the emirate’s industrial zone after assaulting its guard.
Police had arrested the three following a report by the guard that they beat him up before breaking into the company’s office and stealing diesel, lubricants, money and mobile phones. But the three denied the charges although they were identified by the guard in court, according to newspapers.
They said the judge decided to adjourn hearings to July 27 at the defence lawyer’s request in order to study a police report on the incident.
