50-year-old accused of raping son's wife

The Egyptian police have arrested a 50-year-old butcher on charges of raping his 20-year-old son's wife in her apartment during the absence of his son.

The young girl, SHM, alleged that her father-in-law, YA, raped her after threatening her with a knife and also took her photos with his mobile, the Youm7 reported.

He allegedly threatened to kill her daughter also if she told the old man’s son about the rape.

The young woman told police that she was forced to strip off as the old man had threatened to slit her daughter’s throat if she refused.

The accused, however, denied charges, stressing that he had an affair with his son’s wife for some time and everything was with her consent.

Police referred the accused to the prosecution where he claimed that did not rape her and instead it was the 6th time they mated. He provided the prosecution with six videos to prove his point.

The prosecution accused him of adultery and referred the victim to the forensics to ascertain whether she was raped or not. It also ordered detention of the accused for four days until the completion of investigation.
