A middle-school student in Ohio chose to wear a sleeveless dress for a dance at her school and was asked to put a coat over.

Ari Waters alleged that she felt ‘dirty’ and ‘upset’ at the Vice-Principal’s comment that she called her mother and asked her to pick her up, reported ‘Local2’.

When her mother demanded to know what was wrong with her daughter’s bare arms, the VP allegedly said, ‘they are sexual objects’, according to the report.

Ari said she felt embarrassed and asked her mother to pick her up because other girls that wore more revealing clothing were not asked to cover up.

The girls’ mother demands an apology.

However, the school dress code does say that tank tops are not allowed but does not discuss sleeveless clothing.

The principal of the school, meanwhile, denied that the V-P made the comment and released a statement, which said that “the school has an adopted dress code that we require all students to abide by for school functions. Administration is required to make sure students follow the dress code.”
