Crime: Incestuous dad-girl pair have child

Published

NEW YORK: An aspiring asult star and her father were arrested Monday after a DNA test confirmed the pair's incestuous relationship. However, both denied that they were aware of their close biological kinship.

However, investigations revealed that the girl often introduced her baby's father as her "husband/father”, reveals NY Daily News.

The 43-year old man has been charged for having a sexual relationship with his daughter, impregnating her and even filming his daughter and her ex-girlfriend in private moments and selling the same footage without their consent, according to authorities.

The police realised that it was a case of incest when they analyzed the DNA of the man, his girlfriend and their child.

The duo pleaded not guilty to sexual assault and obscenity.

Man's gun goes off in parking lot killing his 7-year-old son

US: A man's handgun went off while he was holding it as he got into his truck in the parking lot of a western Pennsylvania gun store Saturday and the shot killed his 7-year-old son, authorities said.

Joseph V. Loughrey, 44, was getting into the truck when the 9 mm handgun discharged, wounding Craig Allen Loughrey in the chest, according to state police. The boy died at the scene at Twigs Reloading Den in East Lackawannock Township, 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. Store owner Leonard Mohney said the boy was shot in the parking lot, but that he didn't see what happened.

Investigators said Loughrey told them he didn't realize there was a bullet still in the chamber. "This happens all too often where people think the gun was empty," Lt. Eric Hermick told The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Joseph Loughrey was questioned by state police, who said he was cooperative and distraught. The shooting is being investigated as an accident.

Messages left for the coroner's office and at a listing in Loughrey's name were not immediately returned.

Groom dies a day after marriage

INDIA: Celebrations turned into tragedy at a home in Jaipur in India when the groom committed suicide a day after his marriage.

The day before he had danced at his own wedding with joy and his friends and family were shocked to find the 26-year-old's body near railway tracks the next day, reports The Times of India.

The groom had left the house on the pretext of buying some gifts for his wife. When he did not return in time to attend his own wedding reception, an alarm was raised and police officials were informed and search parties were sent out. His body was found early next morning by passers by.

While the police is claiming that it is a case of suicide, the family members insist that it is a sinister business and it could be murder.

The groom's bike was found parked at quite a distance from where his bloodied body was found. A train driver was quoted by the daily as saying that the body was dragged about 1km, which generally happens only when a person intends to die and lays down on the railway track.

The man did not leave a suicide note but left a piece of paper saying  'Responsible for death' with his mobile phone number under it.

Thief returns cash from kettle with apology

OHIO: A thief who made off with cash from a Salvation Army red kettle at a northern Ohio mall this week apparently has had a change of heart.

Police near Youngstown say that two days after the kettle was emptied out, someone left $130 and an apology at the Salvation Army.

A note found at the Salvation Army on Wednesday morning read: "Here is the money I took plus money for a new kettle and bell."

The Vindicator newspaper in Youngstown reports that the note also said "please forgive me."

Police in Boardman say a witness saw someone wearing a Salvation Army jacket take the kettle Monday night while a bell-ringer was on a break.

A Salvation Army official says it's unclear how much money had been in the kettle. (AP)
