Doctor films female patient during treatment

A doctor in Egypt has been sentenced to one month in prison for allegedly filming a female patient while examining her in his clinic. 

According to a report on Masrawy website, 21-year-old Menat Ullah M consulted Mohammed A for a vericose vein problem. She told the court that while the doctor was examinig her, he started clicking her picture. She raised an alarm and her husband who was waiting for her outside the examination room rushed inside to find a camera with her images and filed a case of harrassment. 

The doctor, meanwhile, declined the charges at the Court of First Instance and said that the images were taken as part of the treatment.

The court, however, sentenced him to a month in prison. 

The doctor then moved the Appeals Court, which upheld the lower court's verdict.
