Drunkard hubby makes wife walk naked in garden

SRI LANKA: A man has been arrested by Padukka police for demanding his wife to walk naked around the garden of their house and then beat her after tying to a bed, ‘Lankadeepa’ reported.

The woman has been admitted to the hospital after their 8-year-old daughter called the police and reported the incident.

The husband was a trader and was addicted to alcohol.

Police said that when the man would be under the influence of alcohol, he would enjoy the scene from the balconey of his house while watching his wife walked without clothes in the home garden.

On Sunday when the couple's teenaged daughter saw her mother being beaten up by her father she called the emergency number as advised by a neighbour and the police arrived at the scene to find the woman tied to a bed with severe bruises and later she was admitted to Homagama hospital.

Padukka police are investigating the case.
