Female student's nudity exposed on internet

Colombo - An undergraduate student of Rajarata Campus had been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for forcibly raping a female medical student of the same campus and posting her naked photographs on the internet, ‘Gossip Lanka’ reports.

The victim, making a complaint with the CID, stated that the suspect was her ex-boyfriend and she had befriended the suspect in 2013.

She had married on a proposal made by her parents in January 2015 and since then her ex-BF had attempted to make life difficult for her, she said.

She said that when she was under internship at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, the suspect taken her by force to a hotel room in the area and had taken naked photographs after sexual molestation.

The suspect’s threatening did not stop and in April 2015, he released some naked pictures on the internet, commenting that she should leave her husband and continue the affair with him.
