An Australian man is the first person to be sentenced after being caught performing a sex act with a computer generated Filipina kid known as ‘Sweetie’, Metro reported

The fake child is part of an undercover sting used by charity workers to trap pedophiles across the globe.

From among the tens of thousands who contacted the team, a thousand names were given to the Interpol which further distributed the identities to 71 countries, BBC reported.

Scott Robert Hansen, from Australia, pleaded guilty to three charges in Brisbane District Court. He has been charged for sending explicit images to Sweetie, storing images of sexual abuse on the computer not complying with the terms of him being on the sex offenders’ register.

Hansen has been sentenced to two years imprisonment but won’t be sent to jail as he has already served 8 months of detention. He has been ordered to attend the sex offender treatment program and given a 12-month correction order.
