In a shocking incident, a man who did not want to hear the word 'no' from his girlfriend, took an extreme step and packed her into a suitcase and took her home.

The girlfriend wanted to break off from her boyfriend following an argument, reports Asia One.

According to CCTV footage of a hotel in China's Xi'an province, the man and his girlfriend can ben seen entering the hotel lobby around 10am. The same day, around 3pm, the man can be seen exiting the hotel while dragging what appears to be a heavy suitcase along with him.

The man had rented a cab to travel to his hometown Liaoning. The cabbie heard some sound coming out of the suitcase and reported to the authorities.

When the police officials opened the suitcase, they found a bound woman inside it.

The man later told the cops that he had asked his girlfriend to 'bear with the discomfort for a short while' and then everything would be alright and he would take good care of her for the rest of their life. He was not ready to let the girl go even though she wanted to get out of their relationship and hence came up with the idea of taking her forcibly to his hometown without attracting attention.

The man was charged for kidnapping his girlfriend.
