Man kills daughter over wrong bread

Pakistani police in the eastern city of Lahore have arrested a man suspected of killing his daughter because she didn’t prepare the bread perfectly round.

Aneqa Khaled, 12, was killed last September,  her body was left in an open place, and two days later, then her father filed a complaint to the police that his child went missing, Emarat Alyoum reported.

Police said they found the girl's body with signs of violence, then an investigation was opened to look into the case which led to the arrest of the father who confessed to the crime.

Police also arrested the girl's 16-year-old brother for his involvement with his father in the crime.

The father said during the investigation that he was angry because the bread was not only round but she had burned it also.
