An Egyptian mother is accused of murdering her 7-year-old son to be able to live with her boyfriend.

According to Arabic daily Al Masry Al Youm, the incident took place in 2004. Then, the child's father who had migrated to Jordan had filed a complaint with police reporting his son missing.

SA, 35, had received a call from his wife informing of his son's disapperance. On rushing back, he suspected his wife to be in an illicit relationship. He immediately reported the case to police.

Years later, police were alerted of a decayed body of a child. Stray dogs had ripped open the sack containing the corpse.

The police identified the body and investigations led the cops to the child's mother.

She confessed to the crime and said that she was fed up of the child questioning her about her boyfriend. Her lover also tried burning her son and even forced him to sleep on the floor without a blanket or a mattress. That's how she planned to murder the boy with the help of her boyfriend and one of his friends.

The trio allegedly beat up the young boy to death, stuffed his body in a large carton and then disposed it off.

Two-year-old hugs burning mom, dies

An Algerian woman decided to end her life by setting herself ablaze following a rift with her husband. Once she was on fire, her two-year-old daughter jumped and hugged her, causing the fire to engulf and kill the baby.

The 38-year-old mother in the capital Algiers was rushed to hospital in a bad shape and died there a few days later, the Arabic language daily Alshurooq said.

“Her daughter died at home after she was engulfed with fire when she hugged her mother and screamed ‘mom…mom,” the paper said.

“The mother died at hospital a few days later…before she died, she kept whispering the name of her daughter Misha…Misha’”

Honour killing in Egypt...brother tortures girl to death

An Egyptian man tortured his youngest sister to death in an act of honour killing.

He allegedly poured boiling water on the lower half of her body because she was in an illicit affair, reported Al Wafd, an Egyptian newspaper.

The horrendous act took place in Al Giza Governate when the furious brother forgot all norms and mercilessly locked up his sister for several days. He continually beat her up with a hot steel rod and then poured boiling water on her.

Police was alerted by their neighbour.
