Moroccan woman sells newborn son

A Moroccan girl who got pregnant after a relationship sold her newborn baby to a local woman just after he was born at a hospital in the North African Arab country.

Police arrested the girl after she was reported by a nurse who discovered the deal following the girl’s delivery at the hospital where she works.

The Arabic language daily ‘Al Sabah’ said the girl met the woman at the hospital in the Western Moroccan port of Casablanca.

“The woman offered to buy the baby after learning he was a result of an illegitimate relationship,” the paper said without mentioning how much the woman paid.
