A young girl, gang raped by five men in Rawalpindi, is still in critical condition at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH).
The 20-year-old victim, a college student, was accompanied by her mother when she was picked up.
According to police, the young men picked her from the main market of Kotli Sattian, located on the outskirts of Rawalpindi, when she was shopping.
A car driven by a gang of five, equipped with weapons, pushed her into their car and sped away.
Police said, they took her to the nearby fields and gang raped her at gunpoint on Tuesday evening, sources told ‘The News’ on Wednesday
The victim was shifted to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital in critical condition.
Police, quoting the statement of the victim, said that she was a resident of Malore Sattian.
The young men took her to the nearby fields and raped her one by one after tying her mouth with cloth and holding her at gunpoint.
She told police that they ran away after the offence. She added that somehow she managed to reach her home and narrated the story to her family, who informed police after shifting her to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
The three young men have been identified and police have arrested two of them. The arrested suspects have disclosed the identity of the remaining accomplices.
