'Raped' teen beheads attacker's son

A 13-year-old Indian girl who claimed she had been raped in a village in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, kidnapped the alleged attacker's five-year-old son and beheaded him.

The victim's body was found from under a pile of bricks, reports Daily Mail. 

The girl claimed that she took this gruesome step in order to exact revenge on her rapist.

While the Indian police have registered a case of murder against the teenager, they have promised a fair investigation into the girl's rape claim.

An Indian daily, The Times of India, quoted police officer as saying: "There are certain things that need to be kept in mind - the girl is a drug addict and has often got into scuffles with people over minor issue - she has got into fights for even Rs 10.

"Her mother is unwell and father a laborer, she is coming from a very poor family background. There is no family discipline either. She has been spotted consuming drugs. A fair inquiry will be done."
